Acceptance of Terms
By calling, visiting our website, interacting via our social media channels, or otherwise accessing the 1800 13 NEAP Helpline (the “Helpline”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Helpline, our website, or our social media pages.
Service Description
The Helpline connects you with trained counsellors who provide brief emotional support, information and referrals related to anxiety, depression and other mental health concerns. You may access the service in any of the following ways:

1:1 Coaching Services: personalised coaching sessions for neurodivergent adults and employees to develop self-advocacy, executive functioning and workplace strategies.

Dyslexia Screening: evidence-based screening assessments for workplace and educational settings to identify dyslexia and other learning differences.

Speech Pathology Services: individual and group sessions with certified speech pathologists to support literacy, communication and language development for neurodivergent individuals.

NDIS Services: planning and coordination support for participants under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, including access to funding, service navigation and review.

Secondary School Programs: tailored workshops and multi-session support programs focusing on literacy, self-regulation, and transition planning for neurodivergent secondary students.

Workplace Training & Consulting: bespoke training and consultancy for managers, teams and organisations on neurodiversity inclusion, reasonable adjustments, performance management, and policy development.

Eligibility and Access for the helpline
You must be at least 16 years old and older to access our Helpline and live in Australia. Access is subject to network availability and our operating hours; we do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted service.
Confidentiality and Privacy
All personal information you submit—whether via phone, website, email, social media, or posts and discussions in our closed Facebook community is handled by our Privacy Policy and Privacy Collection Statement, which form part of these Terms. We treat your information as confidential; however, we may record calls, save chat transcripts, or archive social media messages for quality assurance and training. Recordings, transcripts, and archives are stored securely and accessed only by authorised staff. We will not disclose personal information except with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, or if there is an imminent risk of harm to you or others.
Information and No Warranties
The guidance and information provided through the Helpline, our website content, and social media posts are general only and should not be regarded as medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Subject to the Australian Consumer Law, re:think dyslexia and its service providers make no express or implied warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information shared. You should rely on your own assessment and seek professional advice where advisable.
Viruses and Online Security
While we use reasonable efforts to maintain virus‑free and private online and social media environments, re:think dyslexia and its service providers do not warrant that our website or social media platforms are free from computer viruses, vulnerabilities, or other defects. It is your responsibility to employ up‑to‑date anti‑virus software and take appropriate precautions.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to statutory consumer guarantees, re:think dyslexia and its service providers exclude all liability for any loss, damage, cost, or expense arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use (or inability to use) the Helpline, website, or social media channels, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise. If you are in crisis or at risk of harm, please call Triple Zero (000) immediately or Lifeline on 13 11 14.
Access Interruptions
re:think dyslexia does not guarantee uninterrupted access to our Helpline, website, or social media pages. We are not liable for any unavailability due to telecommunications outages, system malfunctions, maintenance, upgrades, or other causes beyond our control.
Electronic Communications
All electronic communications—emails, chat messages, direct messages and comments—may be vulnerable to interception by third parties. NEAP does not guarantee their delivery, security, or confidentiality, nor do we control the third‑party networks and technologies used to transmit them.
Cookies and Tracking
When you access our website, if your browser accepts cookies, a cookie may be stored on your device to distinguish you as a unique visitor and manage session flow. Logs may record your IP address. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may impair your ability to use some online features.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in our services, our website design, content, social media posts, software, trademarks, and materials are owned by or licensed to re:think dyslexia and its service providers. You must not copy, reproduce, adapt, or distribute any part of our services without prior written consent.
12. User-Generated Content
By posting, commenting, or sending messages on our social media channels or website forums, you grant re:think dyslexia a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual, irrevocable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content worldwide. You represent and warrant that you own or have all necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe any third‑party rights.
13. Prohibited Uses
You must not use the Helpline, website or social media channels to:

Defame, harass, threaten or impersonate any person;

Transmit unlawful, defamatory, obscene, indecent or infringing material;

Promote commercial activities, marketing or advertising without our prior consent;

Introduce viruses, malware or otherwise compromise system integrity;

Breach any laws or regulations applicable to your use of our services.
Termination
re:think dyslexia may, in its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Helpline, website, or social media channels immediately and without notice if you breach or are alleged to breach these Terms. Sections concerning limitation of liability, confidentiality, intellectual property, and any other provisions intended to survive termination will remain in effect.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The laws of the State of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia govern these Terms. You submit to the non‑exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria in respect of any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time to reflect changes in law, technology, our services, or social media practices.
